We have some great knitting tutorials for you! This post will be where you can find all the knit tutorials linked in a round - up as they are posted as well as the lists of articles you can find yarns, knitting needles, pattern stores, and other knitting supplies.

This knit guide is where you will find basic knitting stitches and advanced ones as well as also listing out each knitting designer or yarn dyer that has created the tutorial. All knitting tutorials are step by step with pictures and videos, right handed and left handed so that everyone can learn to knit!! Beginner knitting patterns are included at the end of each tutorial.

These tutorials are meant to be for someone who has never knitted before, the beginner, those that want to get better at some stitches, learn new stitches, or those that are interested in patterns using specific stitches. :) So basically EVERYONE! :)

Each tutorial will have the step-by-step tutorial first then there will be a list of patterns you can make using that stitch. After that long list (which is by NO means exhaustive but only meant to introduce you to a variety of amazing designers), will be a list of patterns you can make using the knitting stitch being taught and the previous ones, i.e. if the knitting stitch tutorial you are on is the purl stitch then the first group of knitting patterns will be all purl stitch and the second will be using a combination of the purl stitch and those from the previous knitting stitch tutorials. This second group is meant to build on the previous knitting stitch tutorials so that if you start from the beginning you’ll grow and try out new patterns with each knitting stitch. :)

I have also included at the bottom of each knitting stitch tutorial links for other stitch tutorials for the left handed knitter and for those with arthritis - some may be tips instead of a tutorial. If you have found other tutorials you think I should add, please comment on the tutorial or send me an email.

I’m also excited about doing this with you as it has enabled me to learn how to knit, new knitting stitches, meet new knit designers and their patterns and share with you some of my favorite patterns (at least ones that I’ve wanted to do but may not have done yet). :)

Of note - these knit stitch tutorials are all in the US knit standard.
