Tunisian Crochet Stitch Tutorials Start Here
Welcome to the Tunisian Crochet Stitch Tutorials :)
We have some wonderful Tunisian crochet stitch tutorials for you! This post will be where you can find all the Tunisian crochet stitch tutorials linked in a round - up as they are posted as well as the lists of articles you can find yarns, Tunisian crochet hooks, pattern stores, and other Tunisian crochet supplies.
This Tunisian crochet stitch guide is where you will find basic Tunisian crochet stitches and advanced ones. I’m doing things differently then previous tutorial series (Crochet Stitch Tutorials and the Knitting Stitch Tutorials), as there are fewer Tunisian Crochet Designers, I’ll be highlighting those that have already created tutorials. All Tunisian crochet stitch tutorials are step by step with pictures and videos, right handed and left handed (when available) so that everyone can learn to Tunisian crochet!! Beginner Tunisian crochet patterns are included at the end of each tutorial.
These tutorials are meant to be for someone who has never done Tunisian crochet before, the beginner, those that want to get better at some stitches, learn new stitches, or those that are interested in patterns using specific stitches. :) So basically EVERYONE! :) You’ll be able to learn about stitches such as the ones to create this beautiful Tunisian Crochet Holiday Sampler Blanket by Toni of TL Yarn Crafts (find her interview with us here) and so much more!
Each tutorial will have the step-by-step tutorial first then there will be a list of patterns you can make using that stitch. After that long list (which is by NO means exhaustive but only meant to introduce you to a variety of amazing designers), will be a list of patterns you can make using the Tunisian crochet stitch being taught and the previous ones, i.e. if the Tunisian crochet stitch tutorial you are on is the smock stitch then the first group of Tunisian crochet patterns will be all smock stitch and the second will be using a combination of smock stitch and all of the previous Tunisian crochet stitch tutorials. This second group is meant to build on the previous Tunisian crochet stitch tutorials so that if you start from the beginning you’ll grow and try out new patterns with each Tunisian crochet stitch. :). Of note: I will attempt to do this with every Tunisian Crochet Stitch Tutorial however, given that there are way less Tunisian Crochet Designers than Crochet and Knitting Designers, it may not always happen.
I have also included at the bottom of each Tunisian crochet stitch tutorial a link for a left handed Tunisian crocheter and for those with arthritis - some may be tips instead of a tutorial. If you have found other tutorials you think I should add, please comment on the tutorial or send me an email .
I’m also excited about doing this with you as it has enabled me to learn the many more Tunisian crochet stitches, meet new Tunisian crochet designers and their patterns and share with you some of my favorite patterns. :)
If you would like to create a stitch tutorial for a stitch you do not see below, please send me an email at vamicreations17@gmail.com and i will gladly reserve that stitch for you :)
