Clay Dragon Sculpting Tutorial with Dragon of My Dreams

Tangaroa
In the beautiful Bay of Plenty, off the coast of New Zealand, lives a unique creature. The Maori people have known about him for centuries. He loves the people who call the islands their home. They fascinate him with their beautiful songs and their love of the ocean. To show his appreciation, he often herds fish into their nets to ensure they are will taken care of. For the longest time the people believed it was their Sea God, Tangaroa, in creature form and made sure to offer him some of the choicest fish as thanks for the abundant catches. Over time they learned that he was really a Sea Dragon, but by then habits had been formed and the name stuck.
Today Tangaroa still maintains his relationship with the Islanders. Although outsiders rarely catch a glimpse of him, the Maori know he's there.. Waiting, watching, and ready to go fishing.
